What is Community Supported Agriculture?

A CSA is an opportunity for the customer to directly support farmers in their community by purchasing a share of local, seasonal products. A customer invests in a farm by purchasing a share which entitles them to a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly share of farm fresh product.  You will experience the changing of seasons from week to week and box to box.

Benefits of a traditional CSA are:

*Creating a direction relationship to your food and your farmer

*Eating something new

*Supporting local businesses

*Weekly supply of fresh local food.

*So much more!!!

CSA’s benefit our communities and remind us that what we eat, where we buy it, and how we grow it, are connected to the decisions that all of us make three times a day… and ultimately that nature bats last.

If you are looking for a weekly supply of farm products you might want to check out the traditional CSAs that each of our farms offer.  You can supplement your box by ordering more produce, cheese, and or meats from our CU Farmers store each week. Our farms are offering Traditional CSA shares!  Check them out!
